Mesophytes
Mesophytes live in spaces where they do not have to search for or conserve water, nor do they have to make adaptations to prevent themselves from drowning, however they have to adapt to specific conditions such as wind, temperature, light intensity, humidity and concentration gradient in order to save the restricted amount of water they do get.
Animals and insects are a mesophytes' biggest threat, as they [mesophytes] often have the most colourful flowers, as well as green juicy leaves. Mesophytes absorb nutrients from the soil they are growing in.
